Prior information

With this message, Dewulf informs you about how we process the personal data for which we request your consent. For the processing of your personal data based on another basis, such as a contractual relationship, a legal obligation or the legitimate business interests of Dewulf, the necessary information is provided in our general terms which you can obtain here www.dewulfgroup.com or on request from our data controller via the e-mail address privacy@dewulfgroup.com.

We want to process the personal data for which we request your consent, for the following purposes:

  • Direct Marketing: to always be able to provide you with the information about our machines and services that is most relevant to you.

This concerns the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details (company name, name, language, telephone, e-mail, function, address)
  • IP address
  • Location data
  • Cookie data
  • Interest in our machines and services

Some personal data have been obtained from the following sources:

  • Contact details and interest in our machines or services received from our dealers.

You are free to decide whether or not to provide us with your personal data. Please note, however, that if you decide not to provide certain information, we will not be able to respond to your requests.

In principle, your data will only be processed internally by the following services:

  • Customer service
  • Accounting
  • Marketing
  • Sales

It is possible that the data may be disclosed to processors to whom we outsource part of our processing or to other companies associated with us, albeit always under our supervision and control. You can always obtain a list of processors by sending an e-mail to privacy@dewulfgroup.com. Sometimes, we are also obliged to communicate data to government agencies, always checking whether the conditions are met.

It is also possible that your personal data will be passed on to parties (mainly our dealers) established in third countries, i.e. countries outside the European Economic Area, i.e. :

Such a data transfer is possible if the country where the recipient is established offers sufficient legal guarantees for the protection of your personal data and which the European Commission has assessed as adequate. In other cases, we have concluded a model contract with the recipient so that the level of protection is the same as in Europe. In cases where this has not been done or is not possible, your personal data may always be transferred with your consent, within the limits of your relationship with us. In order to make it possible to transfer and thus process your personal data in these cases too, we would like to ask you to also consent to the occasional transfer to third countries.

We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data and therefore we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal. In particular, we have taken measures to protect them against loss, alteration or unauthorised access.

We process your personal data as long as these are necessary to achieve the purposes for which we need them. In addition, legislation may require us to retain the data for a certain period of time.
