Niels Van Hauwaert on the Dewulf GK3

Van Hauwaert has trusted Dewulf for years for carrot harvesting and, after the 2024 prototype season, was fully convinced of the GK3. Thanks to its side-shift, automatic steering, and compact transport width, the machine is now even more efficient and user-friendly.

Increased efficiency with a 3-row trailed harvester

Choosing a 3-row trailed harvester like the new GK3 gives us a major advantage: we can harvest an extra row per pass while needing 50% fewer turns on the headland. This makes the work faster and more efficient, with lower soil pressure and shorter working hours.

Precision harvesting with improved technology

The new side-shift steering and enhanced lifting unit ensure even more precise harvesting. Additionally, the fully automated lifting unit steering is a game-changer, delivering maximum accuracy in the field.

Thanks to the triple automatic steering system, it is possible to harvest three rows simultaneously, ensuring seamless row alignment in a 4-row sowing method. This not only increases harvesting capacity but also improves workflow efficiency.

Ease of use: intuitive controls and quick coupling

The ISOBUS interface operates smoothly, and the user-friendly touchscreen makes machine control simple and intuitive. Additionally, the harvester can be coupled and uncoupled faster, saving valuable time.

Another key benefit is that the machine remains within a 3-meter transport width, making it much easier to navigate Belgium’s narrow roads. Since we harvest carrots across the entire country, the ability to travel long distances with a compact harvester is a huge plus.

Over 30 years of partnership with Dewulf

Our company has worked with Dewulf for over 30 years, building a strong relationship with their team. From maintenance and service to spare parts and sales, we can always count on their support.

During the development of the GK3, we had the opportunity to provide active feedback, based on our experience with previous harvesters. We worked closely with Dewulf’s development team, ensuring our insights contributed to the machine’s further optimization.

From prototype to a permanent fixture

After the 2024 prototype season, we were fully convinced of the GK3's performance. As a result, in addition to the prototype, we have even ordered an extra machine for the 2025 harvest season.
