With the Certa 40 Integral, Dewulf offers a comprehensive cup planting solution that combines soil cultivation, planting and ridging in a single pass. Built as an evolution of the proven CP technology, the Certa 40 Integral blends established reliability with new innovations that meet today’s demand for precision, efficiency and ease of use.

Accurate planting, row by row

The planting elements are an advanced version of Dewulf’s time-tested CP elements. Each row is individually hydraulically driven, allowing continuous adjustment of planting distance and enabling features such as spray tracks and variable planting. The adjustable planting tube accommodates different tuber sizes, while interchangeable cup belts ensure accurate singulation and reliable planting, even at higher working speeds.

At the heart of the machine lies Dewulf’s unique parabolic planting tube. Combined with potato-friendly cups, carefully positioned rollers and covering discs mounted close to the planting element, each tuber is placed accurately in the centre of the seedbed for uniform emergence and optimal crop development.

Constant working depth, even in light soils

Nine wide depth control wheels carry the machine and ensure a precise, consistent cultivation depth. Thanks to their large contact surface, sufficient bearing capacity is guaranteed, particularly in light or loose soil. The cultivator’s working depth is adjusted via these wheels, with fully automatic depth control available as an option. A rear-mounted angle sensor on the soil plate continuously controls the depth wheel cylinders for stable, uniform results.

Excellent soil preparation with low maintenance

The cultivator features a large 650 mm rotor shaft with up to 132 hardened hooks, ensuring thorough soil crumbling and an even seedbed. Optional carbide hooks and hydraulically adjustable chisels further enhance performance in demanding conditions. The balanced rotor shaft is made from a single seamless tube and supported by sealed bearings, resulting in a robust design with minimal maintenance requirements.

Compact, user-friendly design

To reduce lifting capacity and tractor load, the bunker is mounted close to the tractor and directly above the cultivator. The covering discs are positioned as close as possible to the planting element to prevent tubers from rolling out of place. The Certa 40 Integral is fully ISOBUS-controlled, from control unit to software. An optional 12" Topcon touchscreen and joystick provide intuitive operation, while optional cameras give a clear view of the planting process from the cab.

Bunker and options tailored to your needs

The standard bunker capacity is 2.9 tonnes, with an optional extension increasing capacity to 3.5 tonnes. Optional weighing cells allow monitoring of planted kilograms per hectare.

A wide range of options—including Eagle-Eye miss detection, MR-Control for ridging, Erosion-Stop, spray sets and granulate applicators—make the Certa 40 Integral a versatile solution for different crops, conditions and farming strategies.
