From 9 to 15 November, Hanover will once again provide the backdrop for Agritechnica, the world’s largest agricultural trade fair. Spread across 40 hectares of exhibition space, countless exhibitors will welcome visitors from every corner of the globe for eight days. Dewulf, a full-liner in machinery for the cultivation of potatoes and root crops, is presenting an exceptionally diverse machine line-up this year, featuring seven carefully selected models. Highlights include the Enduro and GK3 harvesters, the Certa 40 Integral planter, and the MH 241 receiving hopper with double Easyclean module. You can find Dewulf at stand G23 in Hall 25.
It all starts with planting
For every type of potato grower, Dewulf offers a suitable planting solution. At Agritechnica, the manufacturer will demonstrate this by presenting both a cup planter and a belt planter. The Certa 40 Integral represents Dewulf’s all-in-one solution in cup planting technology. It combines soil preparation, planting and ridging in a single pass. The machine is available in both 4 x 75 cm and 4 x 90 cm configurations and is fully ISOBUS-controlled—from the controller to the software. Dewulf’s in-house designed system can be supplied with a 12-inch Topcon touchscreen and joystick. Thanks to its carefully engineered bunker weighing system, operation is even more efficient.
In addition, Dewulf will present its four-row belt planter: the Miedema Structural 4000. With a bunker capacity of 4000 kg, it not only places potatoes with extreme precision, but also provides the seed potatoes with exactly the space they need for optimal growth. Elongated and pre-sprouted seed potatoes pose no problem for this machine. The renowned, original Structural belt planting system combines exceptional planting accuracy with a high driving speed of up to 11 km/h.
Into the field with the Enduro special edition
The latest, Generation 2, Enduro enters the exhibition halls of Hanover as one of Dewulf’s key showpieces— this time in a striking black and red design, created as a special one-off edition for the occasion. The four-row self-propelled harvester on wheels is equipped with an axial cleaning module with bypass, operating at a variable angle between 0 and 12°, a unique feature in today’s market. The harvester also features a spacious 12.3 m³ bunker. The Claas X11 cabin offers a generous, user-friendly working environment focused entirely on the operator. An ergonomic N-joystick, intuitive touchscreen interface and, optionally, up to ten cameras provide excellent visibility of the entire product flow. Those opting for the Premium Cabin benefit from active seat ventilation and a seat that can swivel up to 15°—ideal when unloading on the move. Because Dewulf’s Enduro does not use a transition roller, the machine guarantees exceptionally product-friendly handling in all conditions. With its low ground pressure (maximum 1.8 kg/cm²) and outstanding traction capability, the self-propelled harvester maintains top performance even in challenging conditions.
GK3 top lifting harvester: 50% more capacity than a traditional two-row model
With a width of just 3 metres and a swivelling elevator for road transport, the GK3 harvester is exceptionally compact and suitable for transport on all types of road. This trailed, three-row top lifting harvester is 30 cm narrower than a conventional two-row model, yet delivers the capacity of a high-performance three-row machine— a powerful response from Dewulf to shorter harvesting seasons and reduced labour availability.
Thanks to the Dewulf automatic steering (DAS), the operator can harvest possible planting pattern. Each harvesting element is equipped with two powerful sensors that detect the haulm. The middle element corrects the position of the cylinder on the drawbar. The first element adjusts the sideways shift from element 1 to element 2, while the third element adjusts the sideways shift from element 3 to element 2. This allows the GK3 to harvest three rows effortlessly within a four-row planting pattern.
Versatility from field to store
In the field of storage, the full-liner is bringing, among others, an MH 241 with double Easyclean module. This versatile and product-friendly receiving hopper comes standard with a specially hardened bunker chain, ensuring maximum service life and minimal maintenance. The Agritechnica edition is aimed at growers working in heavy and/or stony soils who prioritise reliability and capacity. When the crop is fed onto the rotating roller of the mechanical separator, the potatoes respond to the slight surface movement by bouncing over an adjustable separation plate. The non-elastic clods and stones do not make this movement and are separated earlier, resulting in a clean and consistent product flow.
Also joining the line-up is the MB 34 box filler. Dewulf’s fully electrically powered box filler tilts the filling conveyor into the box, allowing the box to stay in place on the ground during filling. The energy-efficient MB 34 features two adjustable box stops, making it suitable for box lengths from 120 to 260 cm. The product guidance flap ensures symmetrical box filling, providing optimal ventilation throughout the storage season.
For bulk storage, Dewulf will be demonstrating the Miedema ML 1980, a fully automatic store loader measuring 19 metres in length and 80 cm in width, equipped with an X-Stream conveyor. Thanks to its Premium filling function, this machine can automatically fill an entire store in perfectly even layers – with no supervision required – while maintaining the highest level of product-friendliness.
