Potato Europe 2025 will be held on Dutch soil this year, specifically in Lelystad, where the event will pitch its tents for the first time. Dewulf, a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery for potato and root crop cultivation, will once again be in attendance with an impressive line-up of demonstrations and a spacious stand (VG-17). Visitors to this well-known open-air trade fair on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 September will be able to see the Enduro, Kwatro and RA3060 in action. Dewulf will also demonstrate both proven technology and innovative solutions from its planting and storage ranges.
Dewulf’s self-propelled harvesters combine experience with innovation
For this edition of Potato Europe, Dewulf will be demonstrating all three of its self-propelled potato harvesters. Leading the line-up is the tried-and-tested Kwatro: a robust 4-row self-propelled harvester on tracks, featuring a front pick-up and the largest bunker in its class. Renowned for its excellent stability and outstanding product quality, the Kwatro consistently proves itself to be a reliable master of the field. With traction adjustable per track or wheel, this machine can harvest virtually anytime and anywhere—even in extremely challenging conditions. Add to this the tremendous manoeuvrability, and it’s clear this is one of the leading machines in the four-row harvester segment.
Naturally, the latest model—the second-generation Enduro—will also be making the journey to Lelystad. Dewulf’s now well-known 4-row harvester on wheels will be equipped with an axial cleaning module featuring a bypass, set at a variable angle between 0 and 12°, a unique feature in today’s market. The machine also boasts a spacious 12.3 m³ bunker, once again the largest in its segment. As Dewulf's Enduro does not use a transition roller, it guarantees exceptionally product-friendly crop handling. With low ground pressure (maximum 1.8 kg/cm²) and excellent traction capability, this harvester continues to deliver outstanding performance even under demanding conditions.
The RA3060, a classic among 2-row harvesters, will also be making a return. This machine, which has proven its reliability since 1989, was recently given a facelift and a boost in ease of use. In addition to its refreshed look and feel, the updated harvester is equipped with the spacious Claas X11 cabin—shared with the Generation 2 Enduro. Designed to offer a pleasant and user-friendly working environment, the cab puts the operator front and centre. The N-joystick, with its ergonomic design and thumb-accessible buttons, ensures exceptionally comfortable operation. The new touchscreen display, running special in-house developed software, provides an intuitive user interface and operation. With up to 10 touchscreen cameras, the user gets an excellent overview of the product flow. An optional Premium cabin, with active ventilation in the leather seat and up to 15° of rotation, provides extra comfort during unloading on the move.
Level X IoT: neXt level innovation paired with efficiency
With advanced Internet of Things integration on the updated R3060 and the second-generation Enduro harvester, Dewulf has taken a significant step forward in efficient harvesting. Under the banner ‘Level X’, the machine manufacturer aims to simplify the lives of the driver, operator and/or owner through IoT. Additionally, thanks to extensive (external) connectivity options, service technicians, the company owner and, for example, the trailer driver can accurately monitor the harvesting process and yield at any time. This system provides real-time insights by monitoring important parameters such as GPS position, fuel and AdBlue levels, speed and machine modes such as harvesting, unloading on the move, and turning.
Field data, including the harvested area per field and productivity (ha/hour), are also recorded with precision. These data not only provide growers and contractors with a clear overview of performance but also support optimisation of the harvesting process and the associated administration that follows. The Level X core functionality lays the foundation for future expansions of Dewulf applications, further supporting customers in fine-tuning their harvesting processes. Thanks to IoT integration, both harvesters are future-ready, offering new insights and tools to both end users and dealers to elevate efficiency and productivity. Dewulf’s ambition is to leverage these capabilities to further enhance its service offering and respond even more proactively to customers’ needs.
Planting and storage machines complete the full-line range in Lelystad
Dewulf’s full-line product range on display in Lelystad will be rounded off with Miedema storage equipment used to process the harvested potatoes directly from the demo field:
