Dewulf, specialist in machines for potatoes and root crops, proudly announces the 3rd generation of the Kwatro (Xtreme), 4-row self-propelled sieving harvester on tracks. 16 years after the very first introduction, the renewed Kwatro (Xtreme) builds on the solid foundation of previous generations, but offers even more bunker capacity, ease of use and respect for the harvested product.

NeXt level harvesting
What was already available on the Enduro, 4-row self-propelled sieving harvester on wheels, is now also available on the Kwatro (Xtreme): Level X, the most groundbreaking technology currently available on the market in the potato sector in terms of quality, efficiency and user comfort.
With Level X Gold, the harvester actively makes decisions based on sensors, data and AI-driven analysis. As a result, constant quality can be guaranteed, regardless of who is behind the wheel, and harvesting can also be done at more than 2 km/h faster. More output with the same input, that is Level X Gold.
In addition, the packages Level X Silver (option) and Level X Bronze (standard) are also available. With Level X Silver, you choose a brand-new camera system that enables you to further personalise settings, have remote view, slow motion and casting integration with your smartphone and navigation on the road. With Level X Bronze, growers gain valuable insights via the integrated IoT platform.
4 variants that provide an answer to your way of growing
The 3rd generation comes in 4 variants, allowing the harvester to provide a perfect answer to everyone’s needs.
Variant equipped with 3 sieving webs, hedgehog belt and Flexyclean 2.0 module. The Flexyclean 2.0 is a further developed cleaning module. It is a patented bypass system in combination with axial rollers, allowing perfect adaptation to harvesting conditions. The degree to which the potatoes are cleaned can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 100% from the cab.
Variant for row spacings greater than 80 cm, equipped with 3 sieving webs, hedgehog belt and Flexyclean 2.0 module. The harvester is characterised by a full sieving path, without restrictions, resulting in maximum cleaning capacity and product friendliness. The Kwatro Xtreme therefore has a width of 4.10 metres.
The Flow version of the Kwatro Xtreme is a variant for row spacings greater than 80 cm and without hedgehog belt. The first 2 sieving webs are identical to the Kwatro Xtreme, followed by a 3rd short sieving web and a double, Quick-Change, Easyclean module. This module consists of 7 (4+3) active, smooth cleaning rollers alternated with 9 Easyclean rollers. The unit is divided into 2 groups of respectively 4 and 3 linked, active, smooth cleaning rollers. This offers the operator the possibility to determine the speed, height, opening and direction of rotation of the active cleaning rollers of both groups separately. Thanks to the new Quick-Change system, Easyclean segment axles can now be replaced easily and quickly (bearings no longer need to be dismantled). Think for example of changing harvesting conditions where different segments are required. In addition, the module can be set between 0- and 12-degrees inclination, making the level of cleaning extremely flexible to adjust.
This variant is for row spacings greater than 80 cm and without hedgehog belt, where the cleaning unit is a combination of 36 axial rollers and a single Easyclean module. The Easyclean module consists of 2 active, smooth cleaning rollers alternated with 3 Easyclean rollers. The module can also be set between 0- and 12-degrees inclination.
12-tonne large bunker with extra sieving capacity
The Kwatro (Xtreme) now comes standard with a 2-part, 12-tonne large bunker with discharge elevator, making it the largest and most product-friendly in its segment. Unloading is extra product-friendly as there is no transfer roller and no cover so the product doesn’t need to pass through a funnel. Because the fixed bunker floor is followed by a discharge elevator with bar webs, excess soil is sieved out during unloading.
550 hp of pure power
With 10% extra power compared to the previous generation, the new Kwatro (Xtreme) is ready for the future. The Scania DC13 Stage V delivers 550 hp, with extended cooling to handle the most extreme weather conditions. In short, sufficient power to meet all needs, while the intelligent control system always keeps fuel consumption as low as possible.
A pleasant working environment during the busiest period of the year
With the spacious Claas X-11 cab, the Kwatro (Xtreme) offers a pleasant working environment. With an upgrade to the Premium cab, you get a leather driver’s seat with seat ventilation system, a refrigerator, additional windscreen wipers and sun curtains.
Thanks to the ergonomically designed ‘N-joystick’, your hand rests in a comfortable horizontal position and long harvesting days feel much easier. Moreover, all buttons are within ‘thumb reach’, allowing every important function to be always operated without moving your hand. The large clear control unit is fully touchscreen. The software was specially developed in-house for this harvester and builds further on the user-friendly interface that one is used to from a Dewulf harvester.
Proven Dewulf technologies remain retained
The features of the Kwatro (Xtreme) that make the harvester so unique remain unchanged. Frontal harvesting in combination with 90 cm wide tracks and a wide rear wheel (1250/50 R32) guarantee high-quality harvesting in all conditions with minimal ground pressure.
Thanks to this setup (tracks left/right and rear wheel in the middle), the field remains level after harvesting. By maintaining the full width of the sieving path, the risk of blockages is minimised. Various harvesting kits make the harvester extremely flexible to harvest different vegetable crops such as potatoes, industrial carrots, onions, chicory roots…
